Earlier, more than 28 thousand cases were reported for three consecutive days. The death toll has risen to 24,309 with 582 deaths during the last 24 hours.
Relief among the fast growing cases of infection is that the number of people recovering from this is also increasing continuously. More than 20,572 patients have recovered during the last 24 hours. A total of 5,92,032 have been exempted so far. There are 3,19,840 active cases of corona infection in the country right now. Maharashtra, the worst affected by the Corona epidemic, reported 6,741 new cases of infection in the last 24 hours, taking the infectious figure to 2,67,665. During the same period, 213 people have died, due to which the number of dead has increased to 10,695. 1,49,007 people have become infection free. In case of infection, Tamil Nadu has reached the second place in the past 24 hours, the number of infections has increased by 4,526 to 1,47,324. During the same period, the number of dead has reached 2,099 with the death of 76 people.
