Maruti Suzuki Upcoming Cars, Swift Facelift, S Presso CNG, S Cross Petrol: The country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has come in full form to speed up the sales of vehicles after the lockdown. The company has launched three new cars this year – the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Maruti Suzuki Ignis and the facelifted models of Maruti Suzuki Dzire. Apart from these, the company is going to launch 3 more new cars this year. Here we are telling you about these three cars coming from Maruti.
Maruti Suzuki Swift Facelift
Maruti Suzuki is going to bring an updated model of this popular car. The Swift facelift has been introduced in Japan. Cosmetic changes will be seen in the look of the car. These include a new grille, a chrome strip in the middle of the grille, revised front bumpers and new alloy wheels. The biggest change will be seen in the updated Swift. It will get a new 1.2 liter dual-jet petrol engine, which gives power of 91PS. This engine is more powerful than Swift’s current 1.2 liter petrol engine. The Swift facelift is expected to be launched in the Indian market by the end of this year.
Maruti Suzuki S-Presso CNG
Maruti Suzuki introduced the CNG variant of the S-Preso at the Auto Expo. It will get BS6 compliant 1.0 liter K10B petrol engine with factory fitted CNG kit. This engine will give 59.14PS power in CNG mode and 67.98PS power in petrol mode. There will be a 5 speed manual gearbox with this. The CNG option is expected in all four variants of the S-Preso. There will be no change in the design and features of the car. Maruti S-Preso CNG will be launched in the coming months.
Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Petrol
This crossover SUV from Maruti Suzuki is coming with petrol engine. The S-Cross Petrol was showcased at the Auto Expo. It will get a 1.5 liter K15B petrol engine, which is installed in Ciaz, Ertiga and Vitara Brezza. This engine generates 105PS power and 138Nm torque. This SUV used to come in 1.3 liter diesel engine variants, which has now been discontinued. The updated S-Cross will come in three variants – Delta, Zeta and Alpha. According to the news, the BS6S-Cross Petrol is going to be launched in late June. Its initial price can be around 9.50 lakh rupees.
