X is introducing a new feature within Community Notes that provides select paying users with more detailed analytics. Posts that demonstrate rapid growth in likes will be marked with a notification, indicating high engagement.
The new feature allows users to rate and provide feedback on the content. This will provide insights into whether the post appeals to a broad audience or primarily resonates with a specific group. Posts that are widely approved will receive a ‘Public Approval’ tag. If a post receives positive ratings from a variety of users, a message will appear, indicating its popularity across different user groups.
A new ‘Got Likes’ section will also be added to the Community Notes website, featuring popular posts. This feature is currently available to a limited number of users in the US but will be expanded to more users and countries in the future.
This update aims to increase transparency on X, helping users identify high-quality content and avoid potentially misleading posts. This shift suggests that X is moving beyond mere trends, aiming to highlight content that offers diverse perspectives and earns genuine user support.
