The Trump Mobile, the first Android smartphone from the Trump Organization, is facing controversy as claims about its specifications have been called into question. The phone, initially promoted with the ‘Made in USA’ label, now carries the phrase ‘Premium Performance, Proudly American’ on its official website. This, however, is overshadowed by the revelation that the company has altered the phone’s features after its initial launch.
In an unprecedented move, the company has changed the phone’s specifications while pre-orders were still active. The launch details regarding the display and RAM specifications have been stealthily modified.
The Verge reported that the phone was initially announced with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, but the updated specifications now show a 6.25-inch screen. Furthermore, changes have been made to the RAM details. While the initial announcement included information that the phone would have 12GB of RAM, the company has since removed this information from its site.
Questions have arisen about the Trump Organization’s actions, specifically concerning why they provided incorrect information at the time of the phone’s launch. Regardless, it has been confirmed that claims about Trump Mobile were inaccurate. The company has yet to release any official statement. The reality of the phone’s performance will only be revealed when it reaches the hands of consumers.
