His remarks came in advance of SEMICON India 2025, a major event focused on semiconductors, commencing on Tuesday. Ripley noted that India is at the forefront of wireless technology and semiconductor design, fostering new product development. Sinclair, a prominent US media company, has made considerable investments in India for producing advanced wireless technologies. The investments include the development of a tablet powered by an India-designed D2M chip, demonstrating India’s rapid advancements in the sector. The Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the three-day event in New Delhi’s Yashobhumi, with the objective of boosting India’s semiconductor ecosystem. The event will include a roundtable discussion between the Prime Minister and several CEOs. The event will have participation from 48 countries and over 2500 representatives.
