Samsung is ceasing software support for some of its older smartphone models. This means that owners of specific Galaxy phones will no longer receive essential security updates, leaving their devices potentially vulnerable to security threats. The company’s decision is a result of the update cycle completion for devices launched in 2021. Users with affected devices are advised to consider upgrading their phones to maintain security and access to the latest features.
Specifically, the Galaxy A22, Galaxy F22, Galaxy M42 5G, and Galaxy M32 models will be impacted by this change. These phones received their last major update, Android 13, two years ago and will not receive further security patches or updates.
