OPPO will launch the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro smartphones in India in early July. The new Reno 14 series is expected to offer considerable enhancements in display quality, camera functions, and battery performance compared to the Reno 13 series. The Reno series is known for its camera capabilities, which will be a major feature in the new models. The pricing is expected to align closely with the Chinese market prices. In India, the Reno 13 series was priced at Rs 37,999 and Rs 49,999 for the standard and Pro models, respectively. The Reno 14’s approximate price in China is Rs 33,600, while the Reno 14 Pro is around Rs 42,000. Indian pricing will be similar, although storage variants and launch promotions will influence the final price. The Reno 14 could include a 6.59-inch Full HD+ screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Crystal Shield Glass. The Reno 14 Pro could feature a larger 6.83-inch display, also with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits. Both models are expected to have a sophisticated and premium design. The Reno 14 might use the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, and the Reno 14 Pro could use the more powerful Dimensity 8450. Both phones might offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The new models are expected to feature 50 MP camera sensors. The Reno 14 could feature a triple rear camera system: a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 50MP selfie camera. The Reno 14 Pro could upgrade its telephoto camera to a 50 MP periscope lens with 3.5x optical zoom and include a 50 MP ultrawide sensor. The Reno 14 might come with a 6,000 mAh battery with 80 W fast charging. The Reno 14 Pro may have a 6,200 mAh battery. Both are designed to provide long-lasting battery life for intensive users.
