The upcoming Bihar elections in 2025 are expected to take place in November, though official dates are yet to be released. Voting requires two key documents: a voter ID card and a voter slip. Voter slips are usually delivered to your home before the election. However, if you don’t receive yours, you can easily download it online. This guide provides a straightforward process for downloading your voter slip.
To begin, navigate to the official Election Commission of India website: https://voters.eci.gov.in. On the homepage, click on the ‘E-EPIC Download’ option on the right side of the screen. You will then be asked to enter the mobile number linked to your voter ID. After entering your mobile number, complete the captcha and proceed by clicking on ‘Login’.
After clicking ‘Login’, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Use this OTP to log in to your account. Once logged in, you will need to enter your voter ID card number. After entering your voter ID card number and searching, you will be prompted to verify your details using the ‘Send OTP’ feature.
Once you enter the OTP and verify your details, the option to download your voter slip will appear. Simply click the download button to get your voter slip. You can then print the downloaded slip and bring it with you to the polling station.
A voter information slip is a vital document issued by the Election Commission prior to elections. It includes important information like the voter’s name, age, assembly constituency, and details about the polling station, such as the room number, location, time, and date of the election.
