The newly launched Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses boast a high-resolution screen integrated into the right lens, capable of displaying information such as text messages, photo previews, and real-time translations. The display is designed for discreet interactions. The Meta Neural Band wristband employs electromyography to interpret subtle hand and finger movements, allowing for intuitive, hands-free control of the glasses, a departure from voice-controlled systems. Additional features include hands-free messaging, two-way video calling, live captioning, and enhanced audio via a five-microphone array. The Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses, bundled with the Meta Neural Band, are priced at $799 in the U.S., with sales commencing September 30th. Currently, the device is only available in the U.S. market, with plans to expand to Canada, France, Italy, and the UK next year. India’s access is projected for late next year, given the ongoing sales of the previous generation AI glasses.
