With the Apple event fast approaching on September 9, details about the upcoming iPhone 17 series have started to emerge. Battery specifications for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Air have been leaked, offering a glimpse into the devices before their official launch. While Apple usually keeps battery details confidential until the event, information has been released by tipster Abhishek Yadav, citing CQC certification.
The iPhone 17 Air is expected to feature a 3149mAh battery, according to the leaked information. This represents a potential increase from earlier reports suggesting a 3000mAh battery.
The iPhone 17 Pro is rumored to have a 4300mAh battery in the US version, while the Chinese version may have a 4000mAh battery.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is anticipated to boast a 5100mAh battery in the US and a 4900mAh battery in China. Historically, the Pro Max models have included the largest batteries in each iPhone generation, and this pattern seems set to continue. Prior reports had suggested a 5000mAh battery for the Pro Max.
The Apple Event is set to begin on September 9, 2025, at 10:30 PM Indian Standard Time. The event will be streamed live on Apple’s official YouTube channel.
