Acknowledging the importance of clean energy, the two countries have signed an agreement on a Joint Credit Mechanism to facilitate collaboration on clean energy and a green future. PM Modi emphasized that India’s partnership with Japan symbolizes trust. He also noted that India is becoming a major destination for investments, and he encouraged businesses to expand their operations in India. The Prime Minister also expressed confidence that India would soon become the world’s third-largest economy. He added that approximately 80% of companies surveyed by the Japan External Trade Organization are looking to expand in India, with 75% already reporting profits.
