Prepare for the upcoming Bihar elections in November 2025 by learning how to easily download your Voter ID card online. This process enables you to obtain a digital copy of your card from home. The requirements for this process include the registered mobile number linked to your Voter ID and your Voter ID (EPIC Number). If you lack either of these, you will not be able to download your Voter ID card. The registered mobile number is essential because it is used for an OTP verification at the final step of the download.
To download your Voter ID, navigate to the National Voter Service Portal at https://voters.eci.gov.in. On the homepage, look for the ‘E-EPIC Download’ option on the right and click it. You will be prompted to log in after clicking the download option. Log in by entering the mobile number registered to your Voter ID card and verify with the OTP sent to your mobile number.
Upon logging in, you’ll find two methods for downloading your Voter ID: using your EPIC Number or a Reference Number. You can choose either method; for this guide, we will use the Voter ID card number. Enter your Voter ID card number and select your state, then tap the ‘Search’ button. Your details will appear. Finally, tap the ‘Send OTP’ option. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to complete the verification, and the option to download your Voter ID card will be available.
