Android users are voicing concerns regarding Google’s latest mobile OS update, which has introduced a new interface. Many are unhappy with the modifications, especially as the changes appeared suddenly, making it difficult for users to locate familiar features. The redesigned interface presents significantly larger buttons for ending calls, accessing the keypad, muting, and activating the speakerphone, which has confused users. The phone application, contact list, and call logs have also been tweaked, now including horizontal lines to segment contacts and dialed numbers. These alterations give the interface an iOS-like feel, necessitating a sliding action to accept or dismiss incoming calls. The update seems to have been pushed out without users manually downloading an update.
