Canva Integrates Google’s Veo 3 to Create AI-Generated Videos with Sound

Canva is now offering a novel AI video feature, ‘Create a Video Clip,’ powered by Google’s Veo 3 model. Users can now produce 8-second cinematic video clips with integrated audio simply by providing text prompts. This enhancement significantly boosts Canva’s existing AI toolset, allowing creators to easily produce rich, engaging video content for various applications like social media, presentations, and more. The feature is available to Canva’s paid and nonprofit users. Initially, users are allocated five generations monthly. It’s also being rolled out to Leonardo.Ai subscribers. This update represents a significant early integration of Veo 3 since its unveiling at I/O 2025. Veo 3 allows for the creation of video and audio simultaneously, producing cinematic visuals, smooth transitions, and synchronized audio. Users can input a prompt, and the platform generates the video automatically, which can then be customized within Canva’s video editor. Canva is expanding its AI capabilities, and the new feature underlines its commitment to simplifying video creation.
