Google is expanding its AI Mode to Android tablets after its initial debut on smartphones. According to reports, the feature is integrated into the beta version 16.30 of the Google app, giving tablet users access to the same Gemini AI-powered search tools available on phones. The tablet version previously had limitations in functionality due to the larger screen size, but the recent beta update allows AI Mode to be accessed directly from the home screen and Discover tab, thus bringing tablets closer to their phone counterparts in terms of AI functionality.
