News has surfaced regarding a major shift within Team India just before the Asia Cup tournament. The BCCI has decided to relieve a support staff member who has been with the team for the past 15 years. The board has chosen not to renew the contract. Following the exits of former batting coach Abhishek Nayar and strength and conditioning coach Soham Desai, a further support staff member has been dismissed. This support staff member was a key figure for the team and was present during the England tour. However, massage therapist Rajiv Kumar will not be accompanying the team for the upcoming Asia Cup.
