Josh completed his century in 43 balls in the match and became the fastest batsman to score a century for Australia in T20I format. Earlier, Josh Inglis had scored a century for Australia in T20I in 47 balls.

    Josh Inglis showed his fierce form as soon as he came on the field in this match. He completed his half-century in just 20 balls. His stormy batting continued and he completed his century in 43 balls. He completed his century by hitting two consecutive sixes and during this his innings included 7 sixes and 7 fours. Josh played an innings of 103 runs in 49 balls in this match. On the basis of his innings, Australia scored 196 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs against Scotland.
