Kamlesh Pisal revealed that the franchise recently scouted the Pune facility and has shown a positive inclination towards using it as a temporary home venue. This development comes on the heels of similar interest shown by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in utilizing Pune for their 2026 home fixtures. The decision on whether Pune will host matches for one or both franchises is pending approval from the BCCI. RR’s search for an alternative venue is reportedly linked to unresolved disputes with the Rajasthan Cricket Association, which previously saw an official make unfounded allegations against the team.
