Amidst swirling rumors about his future with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Nitish Kumar Reddy has issued a definitive statement, confirming his continued association with the team. The 22-year-old all-rounder, a key player for SRH, dispelled all exit speculation, highlighting his dedication to the franchise. Reddy’s message underscored the bond of trust and respect he shares with the team.
On X, Reddy wrote that he would always support SRH. The 2024 season proved to be a breakthrough for Reddy, earning him a place in India’s T20I squad and selection for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. In the 2025 IPL season, he scored 182 runs at an average of 22.75. Across 28 IPL matches, he has 485 runs, with two half-centuries, at an average of 28.52 and a strike rate of 132.87.
Reddy’s recent participation in the five-match Test series against England ended prematurely due to a knee injury sustained after the third Test. During the two Tests he played, Reddy scored 45 runs and took three wickets. The injury has ruled him out, and he is expected to miss the upcoming Duleep Trophy.
