Mohd. Sohail Khan, a Kudo athlete representing India, has been ranked second in Asia in the Adult Male -250 PI category, as per recent continental rankings. These rankings precede the Kudo Asian Championship 2025, set to be held in Tokyo, Japan. Khan trails only Ryota Ondera of Japan, who leads with eight points, earned from his gold medal victory at the 6th Kudo World Championships. Sohail Khan has accumulated five points, courtesy of a silver medal at the Kudo World Cup 2025 in Bulgaria and a bronze medal at the 2024 Eurasian Cup. Tsubasa Terasaka, also from Japan, holds the third position. Khan qualified for the Asian Championship after performing well in the national selection trials in Surat. He will participate in several preparatory tournaments, including the Kudo National Tournament, the Federation Cup, and the Akshay Kumar International Kudo Tournament. His past accomplishments include a recent win at the Madhya Pradesh State Kudo Championship 2025 and 22 consecutive national gold medals.
