Saba Karim, a former Indian cricketer, shared his views on the upcoming IPL Qualifier 2 match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Punjab Kings (PBKS). He predicted a favorable outcome for MI, citing their strong form and effective bowling. Additionally, Karim expressed his support for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fans, hoping for their team to clinch the IPL title this season.
Karim’s statements were made at the Fit India ‘Sundays on Cycle’ event held in Delhi. He pointed out that MI’s performance has been dominant, while PBKS faced a substantial defeat against RCB. In contrast, MI displayed strong batting in the eliminator against Gujarat Titans (GT).
Virat Kohli’s performance this season was also highlighted. Karim acknowledged Kohli’s consistent performance and wished for RCB’s triumph in the IPL. He also touched upon India’s upcoming tour of England, viewing it as a great platform for the young team under captain Shubman Gill.
Karim also lauded the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to meet Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 14-year-old batter from Rajasthan Royals. He commended Suryavanshi’s exceptional skills and performance in the IPL.
