Legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev has weighed in on the all-rounder debate, favoring Ravindra Jadeja over England’s Ben Stokes. This statement comes as Stokes reached 7,000 Test runs during the Manchester Test. Stokes has played 115 Test matches and has scored 7,032 runs with an average of 35.69. He has 14 centuries and 35 half-centuries to his name. Stokes also joined an elite group of all-rounders, including Sir Garfield Sobers and Jacques Kallis, by achieving the double of 7000 runs and 200 wickets in Test cricket. In a recent match, Stokes scored 141 runs. Jadeja, in contrast, took 4 wickets for 143 runs in the first innings and has scored 347 runs in the series with an average of 86.75. Overall, Jadeja has played 83 Tests, amassing 3,697 runs and picking up 326 wickets.
