The potential event could see him playing alongside Indian cricket stars MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, and Rohit Sharma. Messi’s visit to India, from December 13 to 15, is set to include stops in New Delhi and Kolkata. This upcoming trip will be his second to the country. In 2011, he played a friendly match in Kolkata. An event management agency has approached the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to book the stadium. Messi, who currently plays for Inter Miami, is also focused on making a final appearance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
