The Lions’ success was largely due to the exceptional opening partnership of Ankit Kumar and Krish Yadav, who effectively neutralized the South Delhi bowling. The Superstarz, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, set a target of 186 runs. In response, the West Delhi Lions’ openers, Krish Yadav and Ankit Kumar, put together an impressive 158-run partnership in a mere 14 overs. Krish Yadav’s aggressive 67 from 42 balls, and Ankit Kumar’s explosive 96 from 46 deliveries were key to the chase.
South Delhi Superstarz began their innings with a promising start, thanks to openers Kunwar Bidhuri (42 off 27) and Sumit Mathur (33 off 29), who built a strong 74-run opening stand.
