Filmmaker Shekhar Kapoor mourned the demise of Bollywood’s famous choreographer Saroj Khan and shared her memories of him. He said that without Saroj Khan, his film Mr. India is not like that. He also said that his dance rehearsal with Sridevi was fascinating.
In the last three months, Bollywood has lost many big figures. After Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput, famous choreographer Saroj Khan passed away. He died of a heart attack late on Friday night. Many Bollywood celebrities mourned his death and shared his memories. Filmmaker Shekhar Kapoor recalled the moments he worked with Saroj Khan.
Shekhar Kapoor made his film Mr. Remember the dance rehearsals of Sridevi and Saroj Khan on the sets of India. Shekhar Kapur described it as an enchanting performance and said that without the contribution of Saroj Khan, Mr. India would not have been the same. He was tweeting, ‘He changed the definition of heroines’ generation. Definitely mr India is not a film without Saroj Khan. You must have seen him rehearsing with Sridevi. He was a charmer. What else was energy?
Shekhar Kapur further wrote, ‘You could shoot all night. Still she smiled and did fresh dance. Saroj Khan is the film Mr. India’s most popular song ‘Hawa Hawaii’ was choreographed. Sridevi’s charming performances were seen in it. Saroj Khan choreographed this very beautifully.
