Samsung has announced a new software update for the Galaxy S10e, S10, S10+ and S10 5G that brings some more powerful Galaxy Note 10 features. After releasing an update in September that brought Note 10 features like R Doodle, a built-in video editor and Link to Windows integration to the Galaxy S10 series, Samsung has announced that the latest update will bring all-new smart multimedia and Wi-Fi functions.
With the new Galaxy S10 update, Samsung says that users will see a more streamlined and seamless user experience. The Gallery app now allows you to find favorite photos through a more refined search with keywords. Not just Gallery, Samsung has refined the search across the device, so discovering new songs, movies or TV shows is now easier than ever on the Galaxy S10 series.
The latest update also adds Media & Devices to Quick Panel, allowing you to easily control your multimedia with the Galaxy S10. Auto Hotspot is another feature coming to the Galaxy S10 that allows the phone to enable hotspot automatically with other Samsung devices if they share the same Samsung account or family account. Wi-Fi Tips has also been added to offer troubleshooting guides and alters to ensure users have a stable and secure internet connection.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S10e, S10 and S10+ earlier this year, while the Note 10 series was released a few months later. It is good to see some Note 10-exclusive features make it the Galaxy S10, giving users a few reasons to stick to the older flagship models a while longer. Samsung is now expected to launch the Galaxy S11 series in February with rumours doing the rounds that the smaller S11e will come with 5G support and a large battery.
