Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has said that Sahu Samaj organized the society with his hard work and sacrifice with the blessings of devotee Rajim Mata, today that society is moving forward in all fields including education, agriculture and business and other societies should follow them. Addressing the festival, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the venue of the fair will be selected for the systematic operation of the fair in Rajim. Mr. Baghel said that the state government has done fast to promote the culture of the state, due to which the people of Chhattisgarh are realizing their own government. He said that the name of Rajim Kumbh was changed to Rajim Maghi Punni Mela on the proposal of Senior Minister, Tamradhwaj Sahu and from here onwards the order to promote and decorate the culture of Chhattisgarh is going on continuously.
On this occasion, Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu while congratulating the birth anniversary and new year of Rajim Bhaktin Mata said that the main aim of the state government is to carry forward the culture, dialect, living and tradition of Chhattisgarh. Keeping this in mind, the name of Rajim Mahakumbh is being renamed as Rajim Maghi Punni Mela. Shri Sahu said that the benefits of the government’s schemes reach the last statement of the society. He also urged the society to stay away from pretense. Abhanpur MLA Shri Dhanendra Sahu, in his address, thanked the Chief Minister for the government’s announcement of a public holiday on the occasion of Mother Karma Jayanti, the deity of Sahu Samaj.
