Instructions to keep adequate medicines in health centers for protection from seasonal diseases
Minister Shri Bhagat reviewed development works in Balod district through video conferencing
Food, Culture Minister and in-charge of Balod district Shri Amarjit Bhagat reviewed the progress of government schemes and programs in the district through video conferencing. Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Anila Bhendia was also present on the occasion. Shri Bhagat instructed the officers concerned to keep adequate medicines in all health centers of the district for protection from seasonal diseases. He has also asked to organize health camps for prevention of seasonal diseases.
Minister Shri Bhagat inquired about the storage and distribution of food grains for the month of July in all government fair price shops in the district. He instructed to keep paddy in paddy collection centers and said that rain water should not spoil the paddy. He also inquired about the progress of construction of platforms in paddy purchase centers. The collector informed that 351 platform construction works have been sanctioned in the paddy procurement centers of the district. Shri Bhagat took information about storage and lifting of manure seeds and instructed the farmers to provide manure seeds as per the demand. He inquired about the number of farmers registered under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and the beneficiaries.
Shri Bhagat said that with the completion of construction of Panchayat buildings in the new Gram Panchayats soon, he gave instructions to plant trees in the building premises. He asked to make proposals by identifying the dilapidated Panchayat buildings. He said that wages should be paid on time under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. The Minister in charge inquired about the progress of the ambitious Narva, Garuva, Ghurwa, Bari scheme of the government. The collector gave information about the identified Narva and the sanctioned work, construction of Gothan, various activities being carried out by self-help groups in Gothan. Balod MLA Smt. Sangeeta Sinha, Gundradehi MLA Mr. Kunwar Singh Nishad, Collector Mr. Janmejay Mahobe, Superintendent of Police and other officers were present in the video conferencing.
