Instructions to tighten the system for quality health services

Health Minister Shri T.S. Singhdev reviewed the arrangements by taking a meeting of the Deans of all the government medical colleges in the state today . He also reviewed the existing medical services in hospitals affiliated to medical colleges. Mr. Singhdev instructed to tighten the existing system for quality health services in medical college hospitals along with better facility for teaching and teaching to prepare skilled doctors. Parliamentary Secretary Shri Vinod Sevan Chandrakar, Additional Chief Secretary, Medical Education Department, Mrs. Renu G. Pillai and Health Department Secretary Mrs. Niharika Barik Singh were also present.

In the meeting, Health Minister Mr. Singhdev gave budget allocation, expenditure, purchase of equipments and medicines, security, sanitation, recruitment, promotion, registration of insurance claims of Ayushman Bharat scheme, proposed and under construction works and doctors and other medical staff. Reviewed the availability of. He said that people have great expectations from medical colleges operating in different zones for specialist health services. To ensure that they get quality health services continuously, maximum utilization of resources of medical colleges should be ensured. 

Shri Singh Dev instructed to supply adequate quality medicines in Medical College Hospitals through Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation. He asked to start RTPCR investigation of Kovid-19 in Rajnandgaon, Bilaspur and Ambikapur medical colleges soon. The Health Minister also directed to speed up the registration work for payment of insurance claims under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. He asked all the principals to take necessary action for recruitment and promotion to vacant posts. Commissioner of the Health Department, Dr. C.R. Prasanna, Director of Health Services, Shri Neeraj Bansod, Director of National Health Mission, Dr. Priyanka Shukla, Director of Medical Education Department, Dr. S.L. Adile and Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Medical Superintendent of Smriti Hospital, Dr. Vinit Jain were also present.
