Under the ambitious government justice scheme of the state government, the purchase of cow dung has started in the Nagar Palika Parishad Arang under the direction of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and under the guidance of Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria. 205 kg of dung was purchased from the procurement center at the rate of two rupees per kg. The procurement body of Godhan is being done at the Manikanchan Kendra.

Officials of the municipality said that under the Godan Nyaya Yojana, the process of procurement of cow dung has started in the urban body Arang. Dung is being purchased from cattle ranchers at the rate of 2 rupees a kilo set by the government. The payment of which will be made by the government within 15 days through RTGS to the banker’s seller account.
Municipal officials said that farmers and livestock farmers will get additional income from the purchase of cow dung. Which will strengthen the economic condition of livestock. There will also be conservation and promotion of cattle. Municipal Council President Mr. Chandrashekhar Chandrakar, Vice President Mr. Narsing Sahu and Councilors and Chief Municipal Officer of the Council Mr. Saurabh Sharma were present in the purchase of Godan.
