Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday performed Indus Darshan Puja at Nimu’s brigade location in Ladakh. There has been no reduction in military tension between India and China, which has arisen in eastern Ladakh for some time. In such a situation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ladakh on Friday morning surprised everyone.
During this time the Prime Minister visited Nimu of Leh where he interacted with Army, Air Force and ITBP personnel. He was accompanied by Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat and Chief of Army Staff General MM Narwane. On the night of 15 June, Prime Minister Modi suddenly arrived in Leh on Friday amid tensions arising after violent clashes between Indian and Chinese soldiers in eastern Ladakh.
The Prime Minister reached Leh at around 9.30 am. He then held talks with Army, Air Force and Indo-Tibetan Security Forces (ITBP) at Nimu, located at an altitude of 11,000 feet. Along with this, he also took stock of the border situation.
During his visit, Prime Minister Modi also gave a strong message to China. He said that the era of expansionism is over, this era is of evolutionism. The whole world has made up its mind against it. In history, expansionism has done the most harm to humanity.
He said that if someone insists on expansionism, he has always posed a threat to world peace. History shows that such forces have disappeared.
