Preparations for Yuva Utsav in full swing: Arrangement of food for seven thousand people

To add cultural activities and enhance their participation, a state-level youth festival is being organized from 12 to 14 January at the Science College ground to commemorate Swami Vivekananda Jayanti. Preparations for youth festival are going on loudly. Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant will inaugurate the Yuva Utsav. Preparations for this event are going on vigorously under the guidance of Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Umesh Patel.

Cultural programs will be presented at the Science College Ground, Pt. Ravishankar University, Sports Directorate, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Auditorium and Science College in the capital Raipur. Apart from this, 24 commercial stalls and food stalls as well as state level development exhibition will also be organized in the campus. Three stages have been set up in the Science College ground for the presentation of cultural programs, Karama, Sirhul, folk dances and rock band will be performed on the main stage. In the second stage, the Sua and Danda Nach, the third stage will be open where the performance of Panthi, Bastaria folk dance, Raut Nacha, Phugdi, Bhanura will be performed. Food festival competition, essay, painting, debate, quiz competition based on Chhattisgarhi cuisine will be organized in the hall above the Sports Directorate. The main hall of Pandit Deendayal Auditorium will feature classical dance, Kathak, Odissi, Manipuri and folk songs. Apart from this, the other two stage will have traditional costume competition classical singing Hindustani and Carnatic style, classical dance, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, improvised speech. Another stage will feature sitar playing, flute and guitar playing. There will be a competition of tabla, veena, harmonium, mridangam playing in the auditorium of the science college. Kabbaddi, Kho-Kho and Gedi race will be organized in Ekanki drama and sports complex in the auditorium of Pandit Ravi Shankar University.

Competitions will be held at five event venues. Where the work of pandal, cleaning and painting is in the final stages. In addition to traditional folk songs and dances, the competition of traditional sports, fugri, rhinoceros, bumblebee will also be held for the first time in Yuva Utsav. Separate arrangements are being made for this. The festival will hold painting, improvised speeches, essay competitions for the youth.

After the successful event of Tribal Dance Fest, preparations are being made on a larger scale for the Youth Festival. While nearly 2000 people had reached Raipur in the Tribal Dance Fest, around 7000 participants from all over the state are participating in this youth festival. In view of their number, their stay has been arranged at 32 different places. Arrangements have been made in the Science College ground that 7000 people can eat together. Many Chhattisgarhi dishes including Fara, Chila, Typical, Khurmi will be included in the meal. The festival will have 821 diverse programs across 37 venues across 10 venues. Duties of officers of various departments have been assigned to conduct this event. The nodal and assistant nodal officers of various departments have been given the responsibility of arranging for the accommodation, catering, transportation of the parties from the district.
