Pakistan has again violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control in Tangdhar sector of Kupwara district of Kashmir. Official sources gave this information on Tuesday. He said that the Pakistani army opened fire in the Tangdhar sector on Monday evening, targeting army posts and civilians.
Sources said that there are no reports of loss of life or property on the Indian side during this period. The Pakistani army is violating the ceasefire along the Line of Control in Baramulla and Kupwara districts to help militants who are trying to infiltrate into India before the route is closed due to snowfall.
More than 300-400 trained terrorists in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) are waiting for an opportunity to infiltrate into Indian territory. Senior army officials say that troops on the Line of Control are on high alert to thwart any attempt of infiltration by terrorists.
