In a major action against terrorism at the international level, the United Nations on Thursday announced Mufti Noor Wali Mehsud, leader of the Pakistan-based terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban, as a global terrorist. India has always been claiming that Pakistan remains a refuge for terrorists even today. This action of the UN has once again exposed Pakistan to the world.

Mufti Noor Wali Mehsud, who is a supporter of al-Qaeda, belongs to al-Qaeda terrorist organization. The TTP was blacklisted on 29 July 2011 by the United Nations with al-Qaeda. Mehsud is active in Pakistan and works for Al Qaeda. Mehsud is playing a big responsibility for Al Qaeda. Mehsud has been involved in the combination of terrorist organizations, financing and schemes of his terrorist activities. Apart from this, Mehsud is also active with other terrorist organization. The Trump administration welcomed the United Nations move, saying that the TTP was responsible for many deadly terrorist attacks in Pakistan.

Pakistan remains a refugee for terrorists, due to giving shelter to terrorist organizations like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba. Last year, the United Nations declared the Jaish-e-Mohammed chief, Masood Azhar, as a global terrorist whose strings are linked to Pakistan. In September 2019, the United States named Mehsud as a terrorist, who has now been declared a global terrorist. Now this decision of the UN has led to the disgrace of Pakistan.

TTP organization named TTP leader is accused of several blasts. This organization has taken away the lives of thousands of innocents. TTP leader Mufti Noor Wali Mehsud was declared the leader of TTP after the death of former TTP leader Mullah Fazlullah in June 2018. According to the US State Department, under the leadership of Noor Wali, the TTP has carried out several deadly terrorist attacks across Pakistan.
