In a tweet with Vocal for Local and Gulab Jamun hashtag, Patanjali has informed that it is made from cow’s milk and rose water. These days, Patanjali Ayurved has started mass promotion of immunity booster products in view of the corona crisis. From Chyawanprash to honey and marmalade, the company is promoting as an immunity booster.
Recently, Patanjali launched the drug under the name Coronil with the claim of dealing with Corona. After all the controversy over this, the company has now started selling coronil as an immunity booster. Not only this, the company is also selling Patanjali Chyawanprash as an immunity booster these days.
According to FMCG sector experts, demand for Chyawanprash as a natural immunity booster has increased these days. Significantly, the turnover of Baba Ramdev’s company Patanjali Ayurved is about 10 thousand crores. Patanjali has made inroads in various products including biscuits, ghee, dental ingredients, chyawanprash and has a huge market share. Due to Patanjali, the business of big companies like Dabur India and Hindustan Unilever have also been affected. Not only this, Ruchi Soya, which went bankrupt last year, has also made tremendous growth under the banner of Patanjali. In December 2019, the company acquired Ruchi Soya and since then the shares of Ruchi Soya have risen by 8400 per cent.
