    IMD Rain Alert: Rain in many states today, lightning will flash in Himachal-Uttarakhand; What is the situation in Delhi and MP?

    IMD Rain Alert- Monsoon is bidding farewell in many states of the country with heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in many states for the next five days from today. There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunderstorm in many parts of North-East India including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya. In Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh also, warning of lightning and thunder has been issued at many places today. The weather in Delhi will be pleasant with cloud cover. At the same time, there may be rain in Bihar, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh before the departure of monsoon. Due to western disturbance, there is a possibility of drizzle at many places.

    According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light/moderate to heavy rain with thunder and lightning in many parts of the country during October 11. There is little possibility of any significant change over parts of central and western India during the next five days.

    Heavy rain in many states including Meghalaya

    According to IMD, there is a possibility of thunderstorm, lightning and heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya. On the other hand, after heavy rains in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, there will be a change in the weather from today. However, there may be light to moderate rainfall at many places along with heavy rainfall at some places. At the same time, there is a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning in the sub-Himalayan states of West Bengal and Sikkim.

    How will the weather be in Delhi?

    According to Skymet Weather, the weather will be clear in Delhi today. However, there is a possibility of rain from October 10. The minimum temperature here is likely to be 22 degrees while the maximum temperature is likely to be 36 degrees Celsius. Earlier on Sunday, the sky remained clear and people had to face heat and humidity. However, due to moderate winds and clear sky, pollution has definitely reduced. According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will be partly cloudy in Delhi from Monday. The temperature is likely to be maximum 36 degrees and minimum 24 degrees.

    Thunderstorm in Himachal and Uttarakhand

    The Meteorological Department says that there may be light rain at some places in the north-western states. Whereas, there is a high possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in the hilly areas of Himachal and Uttarakhand.

    Rain in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala

    The weather department has also predicted light to moderate rainfall at some places with heavy rainfall at some places over parts of South India. There is a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning in Tamil Nadu till 11th. There may be heavy rain in Karnataka today. Whereas, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Kerala during 9 to 12 October.

    What is the condition of Bihar, MP and Jharkhand?

    According to the Meteorological Department, the farewell phase of the weather continues in Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. Monsoon is at its last stage. Monsoon will completely disappear in Madhya Pradesh by October 10. Earlier today, there may be drizzle in Jabalpur and surrounding districts. Due to the passing of western disturbance, the wind direction will change and the temperature may drop. The effect of cold will intensify for the next 15 days.

    Monsoon will depart in Bihar and Jharkhand also by October 10. There may be drizzle in some districts of both the states today and tomorrow.
