The results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination for admission in medical colleges across the country, this time, dashed the dreams of the students. This is the first time in many years that no student from Madhya Pradesh is named in the All India Merit List.
This year, the city students who scored 680 out of 720 were not able to be included in the Top 500 All India Rank whereas in previous years the student who scored 690 in the 2018 result got All India Rank 1. The student who scored 701 marks in 2019 was the All India Topper.
The student scoring 670 marks was in the top 100 rank. At the same time, in the NEET result of 2020, the student with 720 marks has been the All India Topper. Those with 701 marks have been ranked at the 50th rank. These figures show that this time the marks of the students have remained low even after getting good marks. The reason for this is being told that the competition was increased due to the general questions being asked in the examination and the students studying in general had benefited from it. Most of the students were able to answer the questions correctly. It was a loss to the students who gave all their time to solve difficult questions based on previous years pattern.
