Dantewada In Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, CISF personnel and Naxalites clashed on Saturday morning. During this period, Naxalites beat up the soldiers and smashed the head of an ASI (Assistant Sub Inspector) with stone. Naxalite soldiers have robbed the walkie-talkie. The incident is from Aakashanagar in Bacheli area. Police and other jawans reached the spot after getting information. Search is being done in the area.
Some incident occurred away from CISF camp
According to the information, NMDC has several mines in the Bacheli region. There is also a camp of CISF. As usual, at around 6 am on Saturday morning, the soldiers went out on patrol in different troops. A contingent consisted of ASI Anil Chauhan and Constable Vijay Kumar. They reached Akash Nagar, about 2-3 km from the camp. Then 12 to 15 Naxalites attacked unarmed soldiers in rural costumes with arrows and bow.
Naxalites have already run away with weapons in such incidents
A Naxalite picked up a stone and hit ASI Chauhan’s head, which severed his head. After this, the Naxalites escaped by snatching the walkie-talkie. The injured ASI has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Bacheli. It is being told that earlier such incidents have also taken place. During this period, Naxals have escaped after snatching weapons.
