As per Today’s Chanakya, the BJP may get 10 ± 4 Seats, AIADMK+ 0 ± 2 Seats and DMK+ 29 ± 5 Seats. 

8.00 PM:  Booster Shot For BJP In Tamil Nadu

As per India TV-CNX exit poll result, the BJP is set to get five to seven seats in Tamil Nadu while the Congress-DMK may bag around 30 seats in the state while others may win 0-2 seats.

7.35 PM: DMK Largest Party With Some Gains For BJP In Tamil Nadu

As per the India Today-Axis May India exit polls results, the NDA may win 2-4 seats while the DMK-Congress may bag 33-37 seats. There are 39 seats in Tamil Nadu.

As per TV9-PollStrat exit polls, the NDA may win around 4 seats in Tamil Nadu. The INDIA bloc of DMK-Congress may win around 34 seats while others may win one seat.

6.10PM: INDIA Bloc Leaders Accepted Defeat, Says Annamalai

BJP Tamil Nadu chief K Annamalai said that the DMK and its allies have accepted defeat. “Why is CM MK Stalin not attending the INDIA bloc meeting? INDIA Alliance and Congress have accepted their defeat by saying that Congress representatives will not participate in the exit polls. They know that PM Narendra Modi is going to become the PM of our country for the third time…” asked Annamalai.

The BJP this time failed to make an alliance with the AIADMK and is completely dependent on the popularity of Narendra Modi and state BJP chief K Annamalai. On the other hand, the challenge before the DMK is to repeat its 2019 poll performance. The DMK had won 38 seats in the last election while the AIADMK had won 37 seats in the 2014 Polls. 

The DMK has exuded confidence that it will not only sweep the Lok Sabha polls in the state but the INDIA bloc will go on to form a government in the state. On the other hand, the BJP leaders including Narendra Modi and Amit Shah claimed that the result will surprise everyone.
