Nalwa Steel and Power Limited honored with National Energy Conservation AwardDecember 18, 2019
Nalwa Steel and Power Limited has been awarded the first prize for the year 2019 in the energy conservation sponge iron category on the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day by the Ministry of Power, Government of India. The award has been conferred on Nalwa Steel and Power Limited Raigarh by the Ministry of Power in a grand ceremony held on 14.12.2019 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, the capital of the country. The Government of India assists in implementing the Energy Conservation Act and the guidelines made by the Central Government.
In order to promote the positive work being done in the direction of energy conservation, this award ceremony is organized every year by the Ministry of Power and the industries selected in the country are evaluated and selected, and then the committee constituted at the national level is being done by the industries. After thorough scrutiny and evaluation of the details of the work, it is selected to be found suitable for this award. Is. In energy conservation, the directions of Nalwa Director and Plant Head Shri SS Rathi ji and the untiring efforts of all the Heads of the Department for the last four five years have been possible. In this ceremony held in New Delhi, the first award was given to Nalwa in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Shri RK Singh, Chief Minister of Energy, Government of India and Shri Sanjeev Nandan Secretary, Ministry of Energy. The award was received on behalf of Nalwa by Director and Plant Head Shri SS Rathi Ji and Energy Manager Shri Vishal Vasistha. Director and Plant Head of Nalwa Steel and Power Limited, Shri SS Rathi ji congratulated and encouraged all the departmental teams and said that they should continue their efforts to add more new dimensions in the field of energy conservation.
