Mukesh Ambani becomes the world’s sixth richest man
New Delhi. Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Chairman, Mukesh Ambani, has become the sixth richest person in the world. He achieved this position by leaving behind Google’s co-founder Larry Page. According to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, Mukesh Ambani’s total assets now stand at $ 72.4 billion. Earlier Mukesh Ambani had replaced Warren Buffett, the world’s largest investor and Hathaway Berkshire, who was ranked 8th. How did the property grow? –The reason for the increase in the wealth of Reliance Industries Chairman is the continuous increase in the shares of Reliance Industries (RIL Share Price). RIL shares have doubled since March. In fact, recently Jio Platforms (Jio Platforms), the technology arm of Reliance, has announced deals with many global companies, including Facebook. Since then, shares of RIL have been seeing a boom.
In three months, 12 foreign companies have invested in Reliance Jio. Facebook, Silver Lake Partners, vista, General Atlantic, KKR, Mubadala, Silver Lake, ADIA, TPG, L Catterton, PIF have invested in Jio. Reliance has raised Rs 117,588.45 crore from stake sale of Jio Platforms. RIL has so far received investment for 25.09 per cent stake in Jio Platforms.
