Maharashtra HSC result 2020: Maharashtra Board (MSBSHSE) has released the result of HSC i.e. 12th class on maharesult.nic.in and mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in. This year, the overall result has been a good 4.78 percent. This year the result was 90.66% while 85.88% passed last year. Girls’ result was 5.84 percent better than boys. Girls passed with 93.88 percent while boys’ pass percentage was 88.04. Students will be able to check their results on the website from 1 pm. The candidates will be able to check their result with the help of their roll number and date of birth.

The results of the science side have been the best. Students passed 96.93% in Science, 82.63% in Arts, 91.27% in Commerce, and 86.07% in MCVC.

The Konkan division topped with 95.89 per cent results. Pune (92.50 per cent) came in second place. The last was Aurangabad division (88.18). 

With the declaration of the result, the wait for about 1.5 lakh students is over. The Maharashtra Board 12th examinations started on 18 February 2020. The 12th exams were completed before the Corona lockdown was implemented. According to Maharashtra Board officials, the total number of boys in the 12th examination this year includes 843552 boys, 661325 girls and 6657 disabled students.

 Board Secretary Ashok Bhosle issued a statement that the results of the 12th class exams will be declared on July 16 at 1 pm on the board’s website maharesult.nic.in. 

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) had conducted the 12th examination before the lockdown began. While the 10th Geography examination to be held on 23 March could not be conducted. Later, keeping in view the situation, the board geography paper was canceled and said that its marks would be given on the basis of average marks of other subjects. 

Last year, 85.88 percent students passed the Maharashtra Board 12th. Even in the 12th, girls performed better than boys. 90.25 percent girls while boys 82.40 percent passed. 4470 students scored over 90 per cent. Konkarn district had the best performance and Nagpur had the worst. Talking about stream wise pass percentage, 76.45 percent in Arts, 92.60 percent in Science and 88.28 percent in Commerce were passed.

At the same time, 77.10 percent students passed the MSBSHSE 10th result. The girls performed better than the boys. Girls passed 82.82% and boys 72.18%.

Maharashtra Board President Shakuntala Kale said that compared to last year, 13721 students have increased this time. 

More than 17 lakh students appeared in the Maharashtra Board 10th examinations.

The 12th grade board exams started from 18 February 2020, while the 10th grade board exams started from 3 March.
