At the same time, the remaining 46.9 percent of the population is under 25 years of age. In the sample registration mechanism 2018 prepared by the Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India, it has been said that in the country, the number of men below the age of 25 years is 47.4 percent while the number of women is 46.3 percent.
Bihar, the youngest state
Through the survey, it has been found that Bihar is the youngest state in the country. The population below the age of 25 is 57.2 percent. On the other hand, Uttar Pradesh is at number two with 52.7 percent population, while Jharkhand with 51.9 percent population is at third place.
Apart from these states, there are some states where more than 50 percent of the population below the age of 25 is living their lives. Such states include Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
Youngest young in kerala
Kerala is the state in the country which has the lowest number of people under the age of 25 years. Not only this, the number of people below 25 years of age is also less in comparison to rural areas.
Talking of states with less than 25 years of population, Kerala has 37.4 percent, Tamil Nadu 37.8 percent, Andhra Pradesh 38.8 percent, Himachal Pradesh 39.8 percent. This report said that as the fertility rate is declining in our country, the proportion of young population is also falling. However, more than 50 percent of the population in the country is above 25 years, which means that the future of India rests on the shoulders of the youth.
Another thing revealed in the survey is that the proportion of people under 25 years of age has also seen a decline in rural men. It dropped from 50.2 percent to 49.9 percent in the year 2017.
Chhattisgarh tops death toll
While Delhi has the lowest death rate, Chhattisgarh has got the first place in the list. Let us know that Chhattisgarh has the highest death rate of 8% and in Delhi it is 3.3%. If we talk about the year 1971, the death rate in the country was around 14.9 percent, which has come down to 6.2 percent in 2018.
