The Madhya Pradesh government has set up a labor commission to help migrant laborers in crisis due to the Corona period. Keeping this commission in mind, the state government will help in the welfare and development of laborers. That is, keeping this commission in mind, the laborers will be provided employment.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that each of our laborers, brothers and sisters who returned to the state during the Corona period, will be provided employment according to their merit. A Labor Commission has been set up to meet this goal. Through this, efforts will be made to facilitate their livelihood in the state so that they do not flee for employment in other states.
On behalf of Madhya Pradesh Public Relations Vigag, it was said that CM Chauhan has on Friday issued an order for the formation of Madhya Pradesh Labor Commission by the Labor Department. He told that the tenure of this commission will be two years. The chairman of this commission will be elected by the state government. The official said that the state government has fixed the duties and goals of the commission. The commission will make recommendations for the economic and social status of state migrant workers.
Along with this, the officials said that the commission will present its suggestions, recommendations and recommendations to the state government in consultation with the members or with other persons, organizations, departments, circles etc. Under this, works will be done for the welfare of migrant workers, creation of employment opportunities and skill development and interest protection of migrant workers and their families.
Apart from this, the commission will provide benefits to the migrant workers and their families in the prevailing social security and welfare schemes of the state. The commission will have two members nominated by the state government. He said that in the order issued by the Labor Department, it has been told that the work area of the Commission will come under the entire Madhya Pradesh government. This includes migrant workers, who are native to Madhya Pradesh, who were working as laborers in another state and have returned to Madhya Pradesh on or after March 1, 2020. All these will be helped.
