Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the stream of Maa Narmada is Chaitanya, all are blessed by its darshan. Mother is the lifeline of Narmada region. The irrigation area of the state is more than 48 lakh hectares, out of which 40 lakh hectare area is irrigated by the water of mother Narmada. Paras makes stones like iron gold, so as soon as the water reaches, dried fields also start to sleep.
The state government is rapidly expanding irrigation area in the state. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has provided an amount of one lakh 75 thousand crores for the expansion of irrigation facility, this will start the Ken-Betwa and Parvati-Kali Sindh-Chambal river linking projects in the state. These projects will meet the irrigation target in one crore hectare area. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration of Vedgarbha Ghat on Narmada coast in Chhipaner in Harda district.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced to approve a new ITI institution in Harda district and to accept a gaushala with all -survival at Gondagaon. He also inaugurated development works worth Rs 316 crore and also performed land-worship.
In the program, Dr. Pappu Ram Vishnoi, Managing Director of Dara Engineering Private Limited, announced Rs 1 crore for the development of Vedic Vidya Peetham Chichot on the occasion.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while referring to the fire accident in Harda, said that with the aim of providing immediate treatment to persons trapped in such calamity, a month after this accident, the state government is free air for remote persons by the state government. It was decided to operate an ambulance. The state government made arrangements to provide air ambulances through helicopters at the aircraft and other places where there is airstrip in the state. Free airplane/helicopter service is being provided to the poor to get timely treatment.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is committed to the welfare of every class. Under this, poor, women, farmers and youth welfare missions are being started in the state. From the Youth Welfare Mission, we will make 70 percent of the youth of the state self-reliant by the year-2028. Gaupalan is being encouraged from house to house through the National Dairy Development Board. Work is also going on to increase the income of farmers with cow slaughter.
Eminent thinker Shri Suresh Soni said on this occasion that Maa Narmada is a lifeline for us, do not pollute it. It is the responsibility of all of us to remain pollution free. He said that more and more saplings should be planted around both the banks of the Narmada River because the trees nourish the Narmada River. Shri Soni said that in our country rivers are given the status of mother.
Construction works worth Rs 316.20 crore/Bhoomi Poojan
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the construction works worth Rs 316.20 crore in the program and worshiped land. This includes land-worship of 21 works and inauguration of 97 works costing Rs 185.87 crore.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the construction of the ghat constructed by the Narmada Valley Development Authority in village Chichot Kuti at a cost of Rs 11.07 crore on the banks of Narmada River. In the program, 21 works including 3 works of Women and Child Development Department, 2 of Public Works Department, 6 of PIU, 3 of Health Department, 3 of Urban Administration Department and 4 works of Electricity Distribution Company were performed land and worship.
Similarly, among the 97 works which were inaugurated, 3 of Women and Child Development Department, 4 of Panchayat and Rural Development Department, 29 of Public Works Department, 6 of PIU, 1 of Setu Development Corporation, 52 of Public Health Engineering Department 52 and 1-1 works of Electricity Distribution Company and Narmada Valley Development Department.
