Mp fire safety tax: The Mohan Yadav government of Madhya Pradesh may soon put another tax burden on people. In fact, the government is considering implementing the Fire Safety Act in the state soon. In the draft of this act, the provision of fire safety tax has been kept. It is also proposed to form a fire police. This draft has been prepared by the Urban Development and Housing Department.
The exercise to bring ‘Fire Safety Act’ has been going on for the last five years
Let me tell you, in the Madhya Pradesh government, the exercise has been going on to implement the ‘Fire Safety Act’ for a long time. However, now the draft has been prepared for this and the Law Department has also approved it. For this, a meeting of senior secretaries of the state government may be held in the coming time. However, its draft can be introduced in the winter session of the assembly starting on 16 December.
MP Fire Safety Tax: What is special in this?
If there is a fire somewhere, the fire police will work in the same way as regular police do. Provision has been made for the appointment of Fire Safety Director with a provision of punishment and fine for not following the norms in the draft of the Fire Safety Act. The director will be able to issue NOC on completion of Fire Safety Norms. This act has already been implemented in many other states. If this act is applied, then it may have to pay a fire-sex tax along with property tax.
These things are mentioned in the draft:
1. If not safety, then a fine of up to 10 thousand can be imposed
2. Fire NOC compulsory also for public organizing
3. Utility certificate will have to be taken every year
4. New fire stations will be built, 250 employees will merge
5. Fire safety officers required in factories, multi -storey buildings
6. Three hours notice will be investigated
