In the press release issued from the hospital, it has been said that on June 24, Tarun was admitted to the hospital for treatment of Kovid-19. He was placed in the ICU, after which his condition was also improving.
The hospital says that they were being planned to shift to the General Ward on Monday.
It is mentioned in the press release issued by the hospital that in the month of March this year, he also underwent surgery at GB Pant Hospital in Delhi for a special brain tumor. During his treatment at AIIMS, he used to have seizures on his own, for which he was shown to the neurologist and psychiatrist for the treatment and the medicines were also being run.
The hospital says that his family was also being given complete information from time to time from the hospital.
