Under the guidance of Collector Shri Mahadev Kavre, the solar Sujala scheme of CREDA department is proving useful to the farmers of Durstha zone, most tribal farmers reside in Vananchal area of ​​Jashpur district. Due to the village being inside the forests, there is little power problem. In view of these problems, the Energy Department has given solar irrigation pumps to the farmers in their fields so that they can get comfortable farming and they can earn good income by producing greens and vegetables. Several villages, marje-tolas have been electrified with home light and solar power plants in electrification areas in district Jashpur. There are many beneficiaries who have seen Home Light for the first time. Balaram, Seema Bai, Ajit Ram, of Sonkari village of Manora block Arjuna’s houses have been illuminated. Collector Shri Mahadev Kavre, while encouraging the beneficiaries affected by the Solar Sujala scheme, said that along with agricultural crops, pulses, oilseeds and other vegetables can be produced in the Rabi crop. He said that the problem of water in the farmers’ fields does not come due to the installation of solar drought. Farmers can take advantage of this and get benefits by doing good farming and increase income.


Shri Sandeep Banjare, Assistant Engineer, CREDA Department informed that a total of 2847 houses have been illuminated with solar light by installing solar power plants and 2679 home light plants to 168 beneficiaries of 6 Marje hamlets under Jashpur. In remote areas, Bahora, Chalni, Kamarima, Kardih, Sonmuth, Harradipa and Sonkari have many houses in the dense forest-mountains of Marjatole and about 191 beneficiaries have been lighted by providing solar home light plant. He informed that through the Energy Department, the facility of light has been provided in the houses of the hill Korva family by giving solar home light. Most of the majra tolls of the forests are inhabited by the hill Korva family. There is happiness in the face due to electrification by Solar Home Light.
