The death toll due to infection in the country crossed 30 thousand on Thursday. So far, 30 thousand 645 people have died. 755 patients died in the last 24 hours. Maharashtra had the highest number of deaths at 298. The death toll here now stands at 12,854.
On the other hand, 97 patients in Karnataka and 88 in Tamil Nadu lost their lives. So far 1,616 patients have died in Karnataka and 3,232 in Tamil Nadu. Earlier on Wednesday, 1130 patients died in the country. Tamil Nadu lost the maximum number of 518 people. In the last 23 days, 13 thousand 328 people died.
