Three men lost their lives at the Brihaspati Kund waterfall in Madhya Pradesh’s Panna district. The SDERF teams from Satna and Panna districts collaborated to retrieve the bodies following a search operation. Officials confirmed that the men had entered the water for a swim and were subsequently trapped.
The deceased individuals have been identified as Abhishek Dhimar, Krishna Sharma, and Twarit Choudhary.
In a separate event, a collision between a passenger bus and a truck on the Raipur-Jagdalpur National Highway near Kendri village claimed three lives and left six injured. Police reported the incident occurred within the Abhanpur Police station limits.
Additionally, an explosion at a firecracker factory in Chinnakamanpatti, near Sivakasi, resulted in four fatalities and five injuries. The injured are receiving treatment at the government hospital in Virudhunagar.
